Frideswide Voices is a girl choristers’ choir directed by Will Dawes.  Established in 2014, the choir promotes opportunities for girls, aged between 7 and 14, to sing within the liturgy in Oxford college chapels.  Through weekly rehearsals and services, girls gain a rounded choral education singing Anglican repertoire.

Frideswide Voices is ‘in residence’ at Christ Church Cathedral for Michaelmas Term 2016.  The choir will be based at New College in Hilary Term 2017 where it will contribute to a Mystery Play performance for Candlemas as well as to weekly services.  Frideswide Voices will be resident at Magdalen College in Trinity Term 2017 and will also sing at Exeter, Jesus, Oriel, Queen’s and Worcester colleges, as well as at St George’s Chapel, Windsor, St Paul’s Cathedral and Salisbury Cathedral during this academic year.

See the report in the Oxford Times on Frideswide Voices.
